    Hi all

There is a drawing of a very basic fuel system for the 912 in the installation manual.  You can download copy from www.flyrotax.com

    Cheers

The Installation manual along with all the rest of the Engine manuals can be found at the top of this page under the SUPPORT / BULLETINS Tab.
You should maintain a current copy of each of the manuals for quick reference.

Select   Engine Manuals > 4-Stroke Engines > 912 Series Manuals, and you will end up HERE.

    Hi Guys,

I have the Rotax manuals etc, but I have written to Bristell asking.  The Rotax manuals can say one thing, but the manufacturer may have done something else.

"The Rotax manuals can say one thing, but the manufacturer may have done something else."

Unfortunately this is too true and has caused a number of issues with the 912iS and the other engines over the years. I still don't know why some think they know more than Rotax that did all the research, design and testing plus 5+ million run hours and these Mfg's and owners have zero research and testing to back it up, but want to alter things anyway. Making alterations also makes you liable whether you're an owner that did it or the factory.

    100% Roger.

That is why I have asked for confirmation from Bristell.

My Bristell paperwork goes through everything re the fuel system, including things on how to remove the fuel tanks, and senders etc, but no mention of return line.  It does not even show it on the schematic of the fuel tank.  Only the in, out and senders are detailed.

I can see the 2nd line running through the firewall, and short of pulling half the plane to bits to see where it goes, I have asked the factor for information.

Hopefully they can provide what I need.
