Roger, what type of drain line hose (e.g. material, size, length) do you recommend and where to purchase? Also, what type of container do you recommend to mount and catch the drainage with? I would assume it has to be some type of material that won't melt and/or degrade under high heat.

I don't see any documentation other than the outside diameter (6mm) and the slip-on length (22mm) from the Rotax install manual.

    Thank you in advance!

I see owners use either regular fuel hose or clear polyurethane hose for the drain hose.

I would be concerned about polyurethane hose collapsing/distorting due to heat - possibly blocking tube. Fuel hose is by far the preferred type.

    Hi Sean,

If the poly hose is routed correctly it isn't an issue with heat. I see many poly hoses used for this without any issues.Plus some use the wrong clear plastic hose. There are different types. Some have been in place for a 1K hours. It's like anything whether it's a tool or a part,,,, do it wrong or misuse it and it can get damaged or cause damage. Even using a screwdriver wrong can cause damage or placing a clamp in the wrong place on a hose can cause a failure.
