    Dear Barak,

I read what the manufacturer said but couldn’t wrap my mind around it. In my application (RANS S-12), to do it their way would have suspended The Cube directly over the engine block and directly under the muffler. Picture a hot, vibration sandwich.

Granted, my solution was an experiment, but after some adjustment it has proven to be quite accurate in GPH and Total Leg or Trip Fuel Usage.

I hope that helps. If you want some pix, let me know.

    Later,

    Brian FitzGerald

PS: I like The Cube, but in my situation, and in my Buddy’s Titan Tornado, we have found it to be very sensitive to vibration requiring a good bit of extra mounting care to derive the best results.

I would also appreciate advice on the location of the red cube transducer. My 3 year old Vixxen has a factory fitted Transducer located on the floor behind the seats. On a recent flight I noted the fuel flow reading on my Dyson HDX was intermittently reading zero. Advice from Dynon  and a transducer supplier in Australian suggested the transducer should not be located low in the fuel lines as air bubbles may be entrapped. Other advice is that the transducer is faulty and should be replaced. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue? Thanks
