Anyone have a good refence on the "in" and "out" fitting sizes?  Guessing metric, would like the correct sizes to cap off the IN for oil purge work.

TIA

    H Don,

You might find it easier/cheaper/quicker just to use a short piece of oil hose, pushed on to the IN spigot and then clamped off (I used small long nosed Vice Grip's).

The OUT spigot must remain attached to pick up oil from the reservoir/tank.

You can use a recently emptied/clean AiroShell oil bottle, to catch the oil from the IN (crankcase) hose. If you intend reusing this oil I suggest passing it through a paint strainer/filter before reuse, just in case there is some particulate contamination.

For the air pressure in - Air gun, nozzle pushed in to breather tube, with trigger wired (could use zip tie) open. Just remember to set your air pressure regulator within the Rotax recommended pressure range. I set to 10 psi with the air gun open (blowing air).

If you are using the correct size hose, you dont even have to use hose clamps - the air pressure is not sufficient to blow them off.

Turning over the engine is great exercise.

    Good luck!
