I would except the issue I had with using Mogas during my Phase 1 testing makes me very nervous to try it again. I wasn't flying it at the time, but I understand it was a fairly severe shaking. After switching to Avgas the issue went away.

Ah! "Once Bitten Twice Shy"
I understand your concern - sounds like a case of fuel vaporisation on a hot day/hot engine - there is another post running at the moment about this eminently manageable problem.
In short you can use ULP and either manage the problem as described and or use AvGas when very hot weather forecast.
Note: AvGas is not a 100% fix on its own. You should always apply all or at least some of the mitigation strategies described.
