I have a 914 with 342 hours on a 2017 ELA Eclipse-10 Gyro.
Just recently it started running extremely rough shortly after going to full throttle during takeoff. I abort the takeoff, check for gas leaking and check the compression by turning the prop. After doing this it runs perfect all day with multiple landings and takeoffs. This has happened 3 times during about 20 days of flying. Warmup, Mag checks and fuel pressure check all goes perfect.
Southern California has been warm, so I don't think it is a temp problem. This has only happened the first flight of the day. I warm up to over 120 and check throttle response before takeoff. Smooth as silk. Brakes would never hold to full throttle. It seems to happen as turbo pressure builds.
Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated!
Thanks!
