Hello, new forum member here. This thread sounds like something I am experiencing
I have a Searey LSX with 912iS with one Dynon D1000 Skyview Classic. Since the recent Dynon software upgrade, I started getting the CAN Fault (yellow caution message) when Lanes A and B are selected. Warning lights extinguish after 3 seconds. After normal start, CAN Fault disappears. This occurred at every startup since software upgrade.
Two days ago (approx 10 hours air time after software upgrade), same as above except immediately after engine start both Lane Lights illuminated and no instrumentation available from CAN BUS (oil pressure, RPM, Manifold Pressure, temps, etc). I shut down, perform another start and got same results.
Upon third try, after engine start, all Lane lamps extinguish and all CAN Bus data displaying on Skyview. I performed Run-up testing on both Lanes and test performs normally and correctly.
Is this a Rotax Can Bus issue or a Dynon issue (or both?) Appreciate any comments.
Thanks

Dynon. Latest software upgrade issue. I posted same on Dynon forum and Dynon replied directly.
