Which Battery for a 912 iS Sport?

I'm wondering seriously about fitting an Earthx lithium battery in my aircraft when its finished. This lithium battery has a built in battery management system. The other alternative is about twelve pounds heavier - an Odyssey PC680 lead acid unit.

Does rotax have any recomendations? Isn't a Pipistrel using a lithium battery with a 912 iS?

the latest revision to 912iS installation manual still recommends a lead acid battery but now it mentions that if a lithium is used then it must have a management system.
The reason lithium was not allowed was if one cell failed it would accept more and more charge until the generators failed. A lead acid will not do this.
I have heard of lithium battery fires but I guess the technology has changed a lot in the last year.

Thank you Rob. I guess I'll build a battery box for the Odyssey and think about Lithium for a few months.
