912 iS Sport - cyclically vary RPM
I fly on Sirius-3000 from TL-ultralight with 912 iS Sport and variable pitch propeller. Total time - 78 hours. Yesterday experienced a nonstandard engine work. When performing exercises takeoff after touching the main landing gear, I turned the engine control knob to the maximum power. Engine RPM at the same time began to cyclically vary from 5600 to 4000 rpm. It seems to me one cycle in 1-2 seconds. After 5-6 cycles, I reduced the engine power and very smooth engine gave a takeoff RPM. After landing, we made several runs with different tempo control the throttle. The engine was working normally. I ask the board what the maintenance and operation of the engine control parameters have to be held in such a situation. It may be necessary to carry out adjustment of the overload clutch?
Thank you.
