We know what the Rotax documents say.
What we need to know is, "What you Have!"

I know you believe you have installed everything correctly.
But you also believe you have a problem.
So let's find where the difference is.

Let's slow down take it one step at a time.
    Once again.....

Have you confirmed the pressure with a second gauging method?
Remove the electrical sender and temporarily replace or parallel it with a reliable mechanical gauge.
    Do they agree?

    Do this first!

I will try to do it.

When I installed the first "new style" Rotax filter I found normal , as usual pressure readings. It came time to replace the filter. I then had a 1 psi increase in pressure for a few hours then back to normal. Perhaps all filters are not equal??

It may take a little while for the new filter to Wet-Out.
The pumps move 30 Gallons per hour even before engine start.

The gauge is positioned to show the pressure before the fine filter.
The engine fuel rail sees a slightly smaller pressure.
Maybe 0.5psi. less due to the high fuel flow.

If the fine filter starts to become restricted, the indicated pressure will raise, giving you an early warning of the filter problem.
The pressure at the fuel injectors can remain at 44psi despite a fuel pressure indication that might be well over 50psi.

If the coarse filter before the fuel pumps becomes restricted, the indicated pressure will start to drop.
There is no early warning built into this scenario. The Low pressure is also seen by the injectors.
Low fuel pressure means landing is now your number one priority.

This type of thing is normal and all should be okay.
