All airliners use reduced power take offs when the runway and weights can accept it to prolong engine life. Would it benefit us to use reduced power for most take offs? I have a Kitfox with an Airmaster Prop and can take off with 5500 rpm or even 5000 rpm on a regular sized runway and was wondering if anyone else does this and what you guys think.

Use full throttle. This isn't an airline or jet engine. This is where many people get into trouble comparing and using maint. ideas and methods from different type engines.
