In rotax 912is operation manual just write: must be to turn on both pumps in take off and landing, Do you know if we need to turn on both pumps in the air? I understand it just need turn on one pump, Is it right? Thanks.

I would keep Both ON at or below pattern altitude and run just one at cruise.
MAIN on the even-numbered days and AUX on odd-numbered days.
The second pump is there for redundancy.
The engine will run just fine on one pump.
