For those of you following this thread, you can't buy the sensor by itself. You have to order the entire throttle body. ($400) I plan to install it this afternoon.

Installed the new throttle body/TPS today. I think the problem is solved.

Sad to report, the same issue returned this morning. The new throttle body & TPS did not solve the issue. Back to square one.

Sorry to hear you are having issues Jim!
You need to have your ECU data downloaded and analyzed by someone who knows what they are doing. Throwing money and parts at random things probably won't get you anywhere. I see your profile says you are in Atlanta GA? Send the data to Lockwood as their employees have received 912iS Diagnostics training and they should be able to help you out and save you time, money, and effort!

We downloaded the fault codes yesterday. Turns out it was a bad injector on cylinder #3. We plan to replace it tomorrow.
