Re: Are fuel injected engines more susceptible to fuel contamination?

IF you have the reccomended filters then it should be fine.
However no matter what engine you have you sholud not have particulates in the fuel.
Generally in our Mogas installations we see NO particlates. The fuel from the service station is filtered into our containers and we filter into the aircraft fuel tanks.
You should ensre the containers are clean and non rusty, or replace them.
You should ensure that the aircraft fuel tanks do not release particlates or have generously sized filters. Personally I would replace any fuel container that releases particates.
All of this applies to any aircraft irresective of whether carb/mech fuel inectors or EFI
