912iS new rating of 105 HP: Truth or Fiction?

I read recently in a few news articles that the 912iS is now rated at 105 HP:

The articles quote Paul Mather. Is there any unannounced truth to this or is it false? Couldn't find any other evidence of this other than these two articles.
