Pop-off valve check - how is it done?

The one we used in the video is from the German Rotax distributor FRANZ Aircraft, part number 11191, and it costs €255.00.

You can use this inexpensive tool to test the pop off valve. This tool gives a low pressure up to 850 mbar. Since the test pressure is 700 mbar, it is sufficient.

Ismet...the type of tool you suggest will not work, it has to be a sustained vacuum and the piston in the valve body has a vent hole that will not it get to the vacuum needed.  Check the Rotax Owner videos and you will  find the correct way, and tooling needed, to do that test.  The pop off valve has be be cleaned and checked at 100 hour or annual inspection for the type 915 and 916.
