I have a new Montaer MC-01 with a Rotax 915is.  The Lane B alarm intermitently lights up (does not flash) during taxi and sometimes on climb out.  Most of the time I can recycle the switch and it goes off for the rest of the flight.  I have dual Garmin G3X's with full engine monitorimg and I'm not seeing any issues there except that the MP creeps from the top of the Green Arc into a bit of the Yellow Arc and I then reduce power.

Any idea what the issue might be and is it a cause for concern? Does lane B normally alarm in the yellow? Since I don't have a Rotax dongle is there another way to troubleshoot?

Since you have G3X, when the lane light is on, go to the Engine page > Menu > FADEC Info and it should give you a diagnosis of what's triggering the lane light.

I had this same issue on a 912iS engine. EVENTUALLY after trying numerous things I removed the connectors off the ECU and applied a bit of dielectric grease over the connectors and pushed them back on firmly as I locked them down. Problem solved. What was irritating the lane error kept pointing at an injector.

Thanks all for the earlier comments.

Here is more data.  I pulled a log from my Garmin G3X.  Now I am really confused.  Hard to see what is causing the Alarm.  I have attached the log from a flight in March and note the I get an ECU flag (Scroll to the last column and then scroll down) note the comment that says SET BARO.

Then when I reset the errors go away.  Since I fly out of a Class C airport (KFAY) I set the altimeter before I taxi.  Not sure what the issue is.  The log is and Excel file. Since I am still learning both the ROTAX and the G3X I may be doing something ham fisted and not knowing it.

    Problem Solved!

Took the plane over to Southtec Aviation in Salisbury, NC they ran the dongle and it pointed to an ignition issue.  Found a touch of corrosion on a plug cap for cylinder two and he inspected all the other plug leads.   He also reseated the ignition leads to all the plug wire.  No more intermittent lights.

BTW they are a ROTX Service Center and a Tecnam Service Center.  No listing of that anywhere on Rotax.com or on this site.
