600 hour gearbox overhaul costs for 915

My 915 is coming up on 600 hours and will be due for the gearbox inspection. I know there aren't a ton of 915s with that many hours on them, but how much are people paying for the inspection? Any recommended shops to get this done? The initial quote I got was between $3-10k depending on how many parts they have to replace, apparently it is common to need to replace parts during the inspection. They mentioned in some cases having to replace the prop shaft, leading to the high end of that price range. Also, there is apparently a shortage of gearbox parts now, so there is a danger of being stuck on the ground for a while once the gearbox is cracked open. 

Anyone go through a gearbox inspection yet?
