I flew 2 short legs yesterday and on both of them I got a blinking Lane A light shortly after takeoff. In both cases I was able to reset lane A by switching it off for a few seconds then back on. Any thoughts as to what’s going on?

If you have a Rotax BUDS Dongle you can check the error codes to get an indication. If you have an engine monitor or advanced GPS like a Garmin G3X you can pull the logs to point you in the right direction. Transient faults are often caused by a loose connection to the ECU.  That is a good place to start  looking.

I've had this behavior with intermittent failure of a EGT sensor.

Download Rotax Diagnostic Info with a BUDS software and a dongle, or check on the Garmin or Dynon screen to see possible cause  of this problem. I add to the above comments and most of the times connector loose or cabling could be the cause however if your battery is not fully charged or sized incorrectly could also produce lane blinking.
