Lane B light flashing when taxiing

Do you have a BUDS dongle? (if not, have your local iRMT technician download the logs...)

Thank you. I don't have a BUDS dongle.   Any idea though please if this is normal behaviour though for Lane B to flash in the scenerio that I gave?  Does it sound normal?

Also - would anyone have any idea of roughly how many 915iS engines have been sold to date?

Persistent flashing Lane light is not normal, if you check the operator's manual you will see that the recommended course of action for persistent flashing Lane B light on the ground is "Maintenance action required". (In the air, you are advised that "Flight is possible to your destination at your own discretion.")

Thank you.  Once the lane is reset the light will usually stay off.  It hasn't flashed on every flight, or during the flight.

The lane B flashing has nothing to do with Oil Temperature or RPMs.

The engine is mostly redundant so once the ECM detects a Fault in the B lane, it will stop using the Faulted system and default to the A lane.

You will experience Absolutely NO change in the engine's performance.

So, ignoring the problem by saying there doesn't seem to be anything wrong is just wishful thinking.

The engine has put you on notice that repairs are needed.

This is a 21st-century engine and is not repaired by using 19th-century Guess and Replace methods.

You NEED to download the ECM Log to see what the fault was.
