915is oil thermostat

I am not so sure that you will need one. The turbo engine makes more heat and the inlet charge is heated, the turbine heats the oil too. I have flown a couple of 915's and the main issue is keeping it cool not warming it up.

Then again I do not live in a cold climate !

Those in cold climates have to wait a long time to let the oil warm up to the minimum temperature.

I have this one installed on my 915 iS gyroplane and so far I am  happy with it. It has AN10 ports as required for 915 engine.

Whichever you choose, make sure that you have 5/8" (16 mm) ID suction line.

Thanks! I fly year round in Wisconsin, so I see a very wide range of ambient temperatures. If you have enough cooling in summer, then you have way too much cooling in winter. But keeping the oil warm in winter has not been a problem in my 912ULS plane since I added the Thermostasis thermostat 5 years ago.

I saw the Franz thermostat, but would rather have a remote thermostat. Has anyone used the Improved Racing ( https://www.improvedracing.com/high-flow-engine-transmission-oil-cooler-thermostat.html ) thermostat?

Dejan, Thanks! Your reply was posted while I was typing mine, so good job knowing what I was going to ask before I asked it...  :-)  I'll go with the Improved Racing part. What temperature thermostat are you running?
