    Hi Jason

The letter was in reference to test pumps and the SI PAC is the latest from August, just released.  The newest data is the SI PAC.

Just as a note, here are the relevant pages from the SI pac that you should look at.  Draw on the pumps and the service inspections.

    Cheers

Thanks! That answers the question! BTW you mentioned there were a lot already flying. Any idea how many so far? Might need a 916 forum section now.

    hi again Jason

Good question.  it is hard to pinpoint the exact number at this time.  There were perhaps 10 to 15 at Oshkosh  this July, perhaps double that now in the USA.  There are a large number in Europe being installed in a lot of prototype aircraft as well.  Rotax Owner admin might have a better idea but they would need to answer that one.  The good thing is that Rotax has already listed all the new manuals for the 916 online for those starting builds for this engine.

    Cheers
