Plugging Unused Oil Injection Ports 582 Rotax

How should I plug the unused oil injection port barb fittings when I am not using the oil injection pump and have removed the pump? Can I simply connect a tube between the two ports? Or should I plug them with individual vacuum caps? It is difficult to find such small diameter vacuum caps.
