Engine preservation

There are no restrictions to how many times you would put the engine into preservation.  Do remember that some parts, like the hoses and other "rubber" parts, still are aging and in preservation this will not stop that process.  if in a dry environment very little needs to be done to the outside but for long term I would suggest a light spray of something like ACS 50, a preservative for the metal parts from corrosion.  It is commonly used in aircraft for this exact reason.  it is also great for electronics.
