Hi,

With the help of a friend we connected my 914 to a laptop and everything was looking good, except the throttle calibration that was not quite right. In the top end did not reach 115% (a few decimals shy) and low end was at around 5%. We re-adjusted and got 0,3% to 115%.

What changes in flight or starting should I anticipate? What's the impact on idle RPMs? On start?

0% represents iddle speed or no fuel at all? My concern is that the previous owner might have adjusted this to 5% to sustain the desired idle RPMs

If I don't like the result how can I change it back to 5%?

Thanks,

Joaquim

    Hi Joaquim

The 914 is a pure map system.  All the set points are predicated on the 0 to 115% throttle settings to get the map where it should be.  The 0 point is not as critical as the 115 so I would not think you will even notice any differences.  There is a throttle map for reference in the operators manual.

    Cheers
