    Hi Michel,

It isn't that no one doesn't have a preference is just there isn't that many out there that have in flight adjustable props on 914's and the ones that are are usually in a certified aircraft. There isn't as many 914's in the field as 912's and then majority of the 912's have ground adjustable props and some with a fixed pitch. There are certainly owners with in flight adjustable props, but maybe not here on the forum.

I just recently help to install a variable pitch airmasterpropellers in a Rotax 914 Turbo. This engine is installed on a Magni M16 Auto Gyro. The price is  but my friend is so happy, he is ordering another one for his Fieseler Storch equipped too with a 914 Turbo.

It come with Warp Drive blades. It has a Constant Speed Electronic Governor with a switch for speed selection.

The installation was a piece of cake and it works awesome! The take off is very fast and he cruise at 80 knots with 4700 RPM

I just have these 2 pics that I took during the installation. One show you were the brushes goes.

    Good Luck,

    Isaac

Make sure you order and "install" a MAP gauge (Manifold Pressure Gauge) that read from 10 to 50 Inch HG

The MAP Gauge is a most when you use a variable pitch prop

    Good luck,

    Isaac
