TBO of 1200 for 912 UL

Can any one tell me if the TBO of 1200 hrs has been extended on the 912 UL engine #4152868
I am up to 1000 hrs and it is running fine all cylinders are all 80/80 on the leakdown test. :cheer:

Lloyd,
you would have to comply with the following Service Bulletin:
SB-912-014UL R2 TBO increase to 1200hrs/15 years. This SB lists another 9 SB's that need to be complied with before proceeding.
You also have to do the following work as part of SB-912-014:
- Gearbox inspection (only for "S"100hp engines and French 90hp engines)
- Prop shaft change (only for constant speed props)
-Dog hub replacement (only for 15 degree dogs. Relax, there are almost none of these still in service. To check your just measure how many degrees your prop moves with the crank locked)
-Replace the circlip in the sprag clutch (this is in the rear of engine and is used to engage the starter. It has nothing to do with the overload clutch in the gearbox)
