Hi all I have skyranger swift powered by a 912ULS 250hrs and have a problem starting it when hot has anybody know how to stop this problem .

    John,

    Could be lots of things, but the first that comes to mind is vapor lock. If you don't have a fuel return line, that usually helps. Also insulating the fuel lines under the cowling. If you go back through the posts here, there has been much discussion about this problem in the last four or five months.

    Hi Bill I have a fuel return line and i will look into insulating the fuel lines it dose seem that it is a common problem.

    All fuel lines and oil lines should be in fire sleeve. The fire sleeve will also help with the heat which may help cut down on vapor lock tendencies. Typical fire sleeve size is #10 and typical oil line is #14.
