Probes/sensors on Rotax 582

I took the attached picture of the top of my Rotax 582. It shows a sensor/probe that goes to two spark plugs, and a third one that attaches directly to the top of the engine - that's the red wire between the two center plugs.
Are the ones attached to the spark plugs for cylinder head temps? What about the third one?
