Rotax Engine Manufacture Date

Im hoping to find the date of manufacture of my Rotax 503 - S/N 3691623.

I'm installing it in a 1981 Military Alpine almost exactly like the one at:   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c1ejn5B5EUw

Tried to make up my own wiring harness - no luck so I need to chase down a harness to match the motor - I got it out of Canada years ago and recall they said it was from a 1988 Alpine - but that would make it an Alpine II I suppose.  est to make sure I get as close as possible.
