Replacing 912S with 912ULS

I am seeking approval from our regulator in Australia to fit a 912ULS rather than a 912S to my Tecnam P2002JF.
As the certified version is both expensive and more difficult to acquire, I gather it tends to be used predominantly by OEMs.
I am looking for evidence that the 912ULS is being used effectively in Tecnams or other LSA applications as a legitimate replacement for the 912S, which the book says I should be fitting.
Can anyone please help?
