Vibration

I recently bought a rans s7 with a 912s that has been shipped new in 2000. The engine has a total of 44 hours, has been sitting for a while. Seems to be in really good shape, no metal showing after recently flying 15 hours, and very good compression on all cylinders. At about 38 hours I started to have pretty bad vibration as soon as I went from climb to cruise, the prop not "pulling" anymore. The 2 bladed ground adjustable warp drive prop seems to be fairly well balanced (former owner hit a snowbank at some point, but didn't think it hurt the prop) and pitch of the blades within o.5 degrees. I was thinking about getting a 3 bladed whirl wind prop, in the hopes of fixing the problem. However, I think rotax had an issue with the gearbox in some engines and also rans has since gone to a different engine mount. (the engine mount rubbers on mine are brand new, the carbs have been synchronized) Anyone any idea how I should proceed? Inputs highly appreciated!
