Morning Roger have a issue with rpm getting to 5800 with an airmasterpropeller constant speed when I push throttle to 100% I get 35 in,, of manifold and approx 5000rpm then full 115% get 39 to 40" of manifold at 53to 5400 rpm in fine pitch
This just started after a month of no flying all was working great before?.
Any thoughts on this issue

    Hi Richard,

I may have to defer this more towards Rob. He is better at 914 troubleshooting. He deals with them all the time.
    Two things.
Is the waste gate functioning properly and is the turbo clean and adjusted?

    Hi Rick,
If you had to bend the float bowl pins then is sounds like the nut was over tightened causing the bowl to bend. The torque is only 49 in lbs.
    see attached.
