914 Wiring Diagram Question

I have been studying the wiring diagram in the 914 Installation Manual trying to figure out what the relay (#58 on the diagram) is for.
I'm thinking that maybe it is for shutting down the generator power to the bus (via the 1 amp breaker marked #42 on the diagram). That would leave generator power to the main fuel pump, but disconnect generator power from the bus (and battery).
Have I got that right?
