I have a FM250 Vampire from flying machines equiped with a 912 ULS and a GT PROPELLER - P/N: GT-2/173/VRR-FW101SRTC WOOD-COMPOSITE DIAMETER:173 cm PITCH: VRR

The plane flying caracteristics seems to be OK.
ground rpm WOT AROUND 4950
CLIMB RPM 5150
CRUZE RPM AROUND 5450 at 4500"
What I want to now is if this propeller complies with the ROTAX moment of inertia.
Is there any one that can tell me that?

That 68" (173cm) GT prop should be just fine. The numbers for operation are in the ballpark. You should be fine.

That question would best be directed toGT Propellers.
They should be able to quote you the correct Moment of Inertia.

The moment of inertia will not have any affect the RPMs

    Update:

GT Propellers reports that that prop is

    3240 Kg•cm2

It looks like you are well within under the 6000 Kg•cm2 limit.

    Thank you Bill

I am very pleased to know that it meets ROTAX requirements.

I have no complaints about the propeller, on the contrary, the sound emitted by it is fantastic and resembles those issued by larger aircraft and not those of sewing machines like so many others. And this is what intrigued me a bit because the sensation by the sound is of a heavy piece.

    Thanks again
