Put a new rubber abrasion protector on and silicone adhesive it to the bottom of the tank. It will never come loose, break or rub again. I have siliconed many to the bottom and 10-15 years later they're in the same position, never loose and never abraded. You can also not have any clamps secured and the hoses will turn enough to usually get a slight lift of the tank to keep it from touching then secure the hoses.
The Line maint. manual checklist says to examine the tank every 100 hrs / annual. This looks like it was missed for some time. Checklist help us find some things we may normally just pass over at a glance.
