Oil pump cover removal Purge Yes or No

Hi All - I wonder if anyone can help with a quick question on Rotax 912 UL please.

If I take the oil pump cover off and change the seals, will I have to purge the engine oil system with a compressor if I make sure I DO NOT turn the prop while the oil pump is open ?

I think, you gurgle the engine before, and make sure the prop is not moved ???
