Vertical Power PPS system With Rotax

Which Rotax engine do you have ???  Assuming a 912ULS...

Looking at the PPS Installation and operating manual, I see nothing special about the installation.

The Alternator output would be connected to the PPS as if it were the battery.

The Regulator's C, R, B+, and Capacitor all stay tied together and connect to the PPS  "ALT B-Lead IN" terminal.

Hi Bill,

That was my initial thoughts also however, my concern was, not knowing the internals of the PPS, was there less than a 0.2 volt difference between the Battery terminal and the the C terminal as per the Rotax installation manual.  The good news is I have had it confirmed from Vertical Power this morning that this is the case so I can wire it as you suggest.

How did your PPS installation go?  Did everything work as planned?  I am looking to install a PPS and looking for some guidance. 

Bill are you sure that is the correct way to install the PPS?  According to the VPX manual it showing output from the rotax regulator going to the main bus out of the battery contactor?

Since the Rotax alternator is always on, does the regulator output connect to the Main bus out or the Alternator B Lead in???
