Floats are within spec, and I measured the distance between arms and the base of the carbs. All that is in spec.
I'll pull them off and look at it again. Odd that both are leaking both before and after the maintenance.

If it keeps leaking out the air intake then that usually means the floats are heavy, the float brass armature isn't adjusted properly or the needle vale has an issue. The problem I have with this is it's both carbs and not just one. When you did the float brass armature did you have the carb upside down and either use the Rotax measuring device like it shows in the manual or measure up from the carb edge to the top of the float armature to get 10.5mm.? Either way is okay. Something isn't right. The float bowls should fill with fuel cause the floats to rise applying pressure upward and then applying enough pressure to the needle valve to shut off the fuel.
But both carbs at one time??????

Just to close out this topic... Carbs were sent to Lockwood who honed the seat and that solved the leaking issue.
