Floats

I just ordered a set of floats from Lockwood.

$140 For 2 floats, and $22 for one float bowl gasket.

I may be out of touch but weren't the floats $35each a few years ago?

Rich, If you are operating a UL series engine, which is an uncertified version, in an experimental aircraft then you might find these of value. They are no less expensive but appear to be a better replacement.

I wonder if these floats would eliminate the need for periodic inspection of the floats? Comments?
