We have three S-LSA Czech Sport Cruisers.  One of them recently has the prop continuing to spin for a few seconds after the ignition and all switches have been turned off.  This seems to be something new, as it usually just stops after the ignition switch and other switches have been turned off.  Any ideas of why the plane has started to do this after 800 hours?

I had exactly this same problem. The reason turned out to be one ignition wire to the key switch had broken, so when I turned the engine off only one ignition was grounded thru the switch, the other stayed hot.

Its the Rotax 912 ULS.  Thank you James.  I'll have to take a look and see if that is the issue.  Bill if you have any other ideas on what it may be or what to check, I'd greatly appreciate it.

It could be a bad ground wire. Could be a lose screw on the back of the ignition switch or a bad connection in the engine compartment on one of the white wires out of the ignition module plastic plugs. May be hanging by a thread at the metal connector inside the plastic plug. Just take a few minutes and check them all..
