That's an interesting thought, and definitely another reason why I want lead-free gas ASAP.
Unfortunately, I have no idea how to find lead- and ethanol-free gas within 100 miles. www.pure-gas.org in my area only shows places selling 5gal VP Racing fuel cans at $20/gal, Swift UL94 is only at 4 airports from Ohio to Maine, Gami 100UL is years out, etc...

No ULP! what do you put in your car?
You do know that Rotax accept up to 10% ethanol (I have never used it) SUBJECT to the rest of the fuel system being compatible.

I have a bike and a plane. What am I going to do with a car? :)
Alas, the fuel systems of these planes seem to always be done with ethanol sensitive parts, especially the tank sealant. I don't know why manufacturers keep doing this, but that's where things stand. :(
