Not in Australia - unless the suppliers have neglected to advertise/place on product listings.

hi Sean
The XPS is supposed to be available from all Rotax distributors. Contact Bert Flood and ask when they expect it to come in. if you have no joy with them contact CFS in the UK, they supply Flood. You can find their contact numbers at the FlyRotax dealer locator on FlyRotax.com.
Given that the oil is made in the USA it might be them sorting out the supply chain is my guess. The oil is not a direct sale from the producer is what I was told. This oil is made currently to solve some issues with the 916 engine. I expect at some point they will say it is fine for all the 4 strokes however that is still in evaluation.
Cheers

Anyone have information on how much more effective this new XPS oil is over the AeroShell Sport Plus 4 for the 9 series engines? I mean when it become widely available will it replace the Shell product as the superior oil do you think?

Hello Mike
The Rotax distributors have been told that the XPS oil was developed for the type 916 to solve the high oil temp issues given the high boost pressures and extreme temperatures within the cylinder head at full power. It was not developed to replace the Aeroshell. I am aware that the producer is testing the suitability of the oil in the other 4 stroke Rotax engines (aircraft only) to see if it can be recommended for those engines as well.
At Oshkosh this year a number of XPS oil engineers were on hand at the Rotax booth and did cover this topic. Even small items such as the color of the oil, kind of a neon yellow-green, was so that the oil could be more easily seen on the Rotax dipstick in the tank. No item was to small to look at it seems.
Cheers
