Did the price just double?

We have adjusted our subscription pricing to $29.95 bi-annually (twice a year) or $59.90 annually (per year). This change is necessary to accommodate the rising costs in today's economy and to provide support for our future developments and upcoming videos currently in production.

We issued an email notification about this pricing adjustment on July 25th, 2023, ensuring our subscribers were informed well in advance. Our yearly subscription price of $29.95 has remained unchanged for over a decade. However, considering the present circumstances and after a thorough evaluation of the expenses associated with operating the website, creating new content, and overseeing the forum and Rotax-Owner group, we had no alternative but to implement this pricing adjustment.

It's important to note that our website receives sponsorship solely from Rotax Owners, and we do not receive funding from any other sources. This sponsorship is essential to support our operations effectively. We do appreciate your past support and hope you will continue to find value in the website.

Rest assured, there is new valuable content in development to further enhance your experience.

I hope R-O steps up its game in the future.  It is my impression that R-O has rarely delivered on its promised annual quantity of videos, etc.  I've been a member for @ 10 years now.  Doubling of your subscription cost  causes one to question R-O's continuing value.

ps -- Kudos to your regular forum technical staff and contributors.  In my mind they are the real value.

I agree with Russell. Although we are in inflationary times, prices have not doubled. I can perhaps understand a slight increase but not double.

Unless you guys change your mind, I'm not going to continue.

I agree with the previous posters.  We have invested tens of thousands to become Rotax Owners.  While there is indeed value in the education, information and support to be found here, we too must weigh the benefits against the rising costs of ownership. Doubling the annual rate strikes me as a disservice to your customers.  I understand the need for an increase, but a reasonable one.
