It's not currently part of the system here but we will consider including it in the website's upcoming revision.

The Porsche forum, Rennlist.com, does a good job with this if you want to see an example. The poles are listed at the top of the forum in the ”Sticky Threads” section and are shown with a special icon. And if you click into the pole you see a summary graph at the top.

i think it might work but any poll should be admin approved first.  My concern is how someone poses the question can be very leading and then a poll is bias without much value.  

Consider the old joke about lawyers questions and how the frame them...the lawyer says to the witness, "Do you still beat your wife?  Yes or no only please."  Just my view.
