reduction B propeller extension

Hi all,
I would like to extend my prop 2 inches from the reduction B using a prop
extender...Is that possible ? Somebody done it before me ? This is assuming
that the prop includind the extender will still have less than 3000 kg mass
inertia.Is the bearings strong enough ???
Actually,the extender would be machined from 2024-t3 with a centering hole and
the 8 mm bolts would passthru the prop ,the extender and screw in to the reduction flange...
