Recently my 582UL engine had an overhaul.
We collected it this week and the guy from the work shop added gearbox oil to the rotary valve and water pump circuit in stead of the usual 2-stroke oil and said that this was better than 2-stroke oil.
According the manual it should be 2-stroke oil.
Is this OK to do, has this changed recently, can we leave the oil in it or should we replace it?
