Another thought is take an oil sample and send it in just to rule in or out contamination. It cost around $25.

    p.s.

I’d put the fuel and oil hose in fire sleeve and safety wire and apply high temp silicone to all the exhaust springs.

Ok it's what I found for the 400mm, so the position of my tank is ok.

I found another thread, the person told about the level of the pump with the tank, so it's confuse me.

I will purge the system this week. So I will see if the engine is prime or not.

Another person tell me about carbs can leaks gas in the oil tank.

    Thanks !!

Do you know where I can send the oil sample?

    Thanks

Interesting that the illustration in the manual shows an incorrect non-confirming oil level (too low, clearly below -400mm).

    Hi Tommy,

When an engine gets to a certain hour range I do an oil sample every annual. I use Aviation Laboratories in the USA. They are in Texas. They run each sample three times. Then you get an emailed print out. I put the owners email and mine so I can see it too. If you have done it before with them they show comparisons from the previous samples. They compare your sample against same engines and comparable hour times. The cost of the kit is roughly $25 and comes with a pre-paid mailing label. If you catch an oil sample catch it about half way through the draining process.
