Good afternoon,

I will be purchasing a new aircraft with a 912ULS.
91-93 octane with 10% ethanol using Decalin run up or 100LL which Rotax suggest to use no more than 30% of engine run time. What do most use?

    Hi Rich,

No question here. If your fuel tanks are okay with the 91 oct with ethanol then you are far and a head of the game. Your 10% ethanol will not hurt your engine. You don't need Decalin unless you use 100LL and if you can stay away from it and just use the 91 oct. That said many of us that travel have to use 100LL at other airports when away from home.
A steady diet of 100LL will only cost you more in maint and headaches later on.
