    This sounds great? And it only costs 21 dollars? or is that just the kit and shipping? what is the cost of the analysis? I didn't understand quite well.

    The price of the kit is everything. It covers the kit, it covers the shipping back to them and the analysis. I buy that kit by the case. You don't need to do an analysis every oil change. Just do it at the annual. That isn't that many times until the TBO. Some like to start from the first oil change. I'm usually happy to start around the 200 hr. mark, but everyone is different.

    Is there a Rotax Owner Video for the procedure to cut open and inspect the filter element?
    I recall seeing one a while ago, but could not find it.

    Watch this video. I do the same thing, but use a smaller container. This method lets you see the tiniest particles that can hide and do a good identification.
